A Little Snack

When the Sun Kissed Boys get home from school, they are STARVING!!!!  (I don’t even want to think about what my grocery bill will look like when they are teenagers.)  I made them baked apples the other days and they loved them!  It’s easy to put together so I thought I’d share it with you.

Baked Apples
Apples (I only had 3 apples but you can do this recipe with 1 apple or 10)
Cinnamon and Sugar to taste

Preheat oven to 4000.  Cut apples into wedges (core off) and spread in baking pan.  Sprinkle Cinnamon and Sugar to taste.  Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until apples are soft and sugar is melted.

Yeap, that’s all!  Let me break it down with pics J

Here are all ingredients and materials you will need.  The cheese container has my cinnamon and sugar mixture I told you about earlier.  I really need to come up with some way of labeling it.  If you missed that post, click here

This apple corer/wedger is the handiest little gadget.  I picked it up at my local grocery store.

If there are any seeds left on the apple wedges, cut them off.

Tah, daaah!!!!!

Ok, I couldn't wait for all the sugar to melt.

Um, delicioso!!!

What little snacks do you have up your sleeve?
A note on the apple pictures: I was told by my two faithful readers, my husband and my sis-in-law, that the apples look a little brown.  FYI, apples turn brown very quickly.  These turned in the time that it took me to take some pics (to which my sister-in-law pointed out that maybe I'm a slow picture taker).  In this recipe it doesn't really matter because the apples are being baked.  But to keep your apples looking pretty/non-brownISH, sprinkle lemon juice on them.
