Tin Buckets
I get a lot of the objects I revamp through Freecycle. Freecycle is nonprofit movement of people who give (and get) things for free. Freecycle’s objective is to reuse and keep things out of landfills. To find out more about Freecycle or to find a group in your area click here.
The tin buckets too came from a fellow freecycler.

I sanded all the rust off then sprayed painted them in heirloom white.

I painted a rectangle section in chalkboard paint to label it’s contents.

I used my cordless sander to distress it. I love how the stars came out because they look like starfishes and it matches the beachy undertone of my home's d├ęcor.

My intention is to use all six buckets for toy storage. But I need to do some re-organizing in the playroom first and I am not ready for that. In the meantime, the Sun Kissed Boys have other uses for them.

They also came in handy when Easter snuck up on me this year.

Your buckets came out really nice! They look like they came from Pottery Barn. I can't wait to see how you use them in your playroom.
