A Muffin and Moon Story
The moon has a special meaning to me. I do find it beautiful and romantic but it’s more than that. When my grandmother was alive, she lived in Cuba while I lived in the United States. She once told me that sometimes she would look at the moon and would wonder if I was looking at the moon as well. That even if were in two different worlds, we could both be looking at the very same thing, at one very exact moment. Ever since she said that, I looked at the moon every night and thought of her. Now that she’s passed away, I never look at the moon without thinking of her. I now tell my kids that I love them to the moon and back. That entire sappy story to get to my silly/cute conversation with Sun Kissed Boy #2.
Let me set the scene for you. I had just finished making muffins and had my back toward him as I was cleaning up.
SKB#2: Me love you oh so much! Me give you kisses! Me love you to the moon and back!
Me: Ooooh, I love you, oh, so much too!!!! I love you to the moon and back!!!!!
SKB#2: NOT you. Me talking to the box!!!
The beloved box.
I call the following pics I-just-got-a-new-camera-and-I'm-playing-with-it's-capabilities pic.
Have a sweet weekend everyone!
