While in Naples, Sun Kissed Husband was kind enough to drive me around town to look at homes. He knows I love to do this (secretly, I think he does too. Kind of like when he watched Melrose Place and Beverly Hills 90210 but wouldn’t admit to it.) but things change when you have 3 boys in the back not appreciating the “aimless” driving. At any rate, I came across some gorgeous, opulent homes but I was more attracted to the “ordinary” homes. The one thing they had in common was the loveliness of the front doors. All different but with a lot of mojo.
The Rustic Beauty
The Intricate Lace
The Faux Lighthouse
The Red “Pop”py
The Beachy Cottage
And my favorite, The Coastal Charmer…
…with a view.
Enjoy the weekend, everyone.
8 Sunny Notes:
Those are great door. Love the wrought iron. I took some shots of old weathered doors years ago when we were in Italy. Never got around to framing them.
I love all of your pictures from Naples, how fun for you! Thanks for your nice comments!
Okay - so now I want to visit Naples :D
That last one cracked me up!
Now that was fun. I don't think I have ever seen a lighthouse house. Is that how I should even say that? That first door looks like it has washers on it. Different. Thanks for sharing and linking up.
Gotta say the coastal charmer is my favorite too. I love the sparkling bright whites and the colors of Florida homes. Such different architecture than we have in the midwest. Loved it.

Lovely doors you have shared in here. First photo is I like the most and I think this is fit for my new home. I have to say that the house in makes me swoon hard. :)

The design very beautiful. You've highlighted the main features of the door and that's very nice!
