A Trip to the Book Store & Playroom Update

-The playroom remodel continues very slowly.  Yesterday, we split this bad boy in half.

It needs sanding and touch up paint but the weather wasn’t cooperating so we packed it in.   (I know you wouldn't know it by the picture with the blue sky but South Florida weather tends to be quite unpredictable this time of year).

I took the Sun Kissed Boys # 1 & 2 for haircuts.

Haircuts around our house only happen a couple of times a year.  Usually right before school starts and somewhere around the middle there might be a trim.  (I’m partial to long hair.  Except on Sun Kissed Boy #3.  Babies shouldn’t have long hair.  I have my limitations.).

My sister-in-law will be doing a science project with the boys that involves the Dr. Seuss’ book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck (I'll be doing a post on that later) so I picked up the rest of the gang up and headed to the bookstore.  Unfortunately, the book wasn’t in stock but the boys didn’t mind.  They picked out books.

Sun Kissed Boy # 1 couldn’t wait to get home to start reading his book.  For that, I would have paid a hundred for the book.

As for moments like these, well, they’re just priceless. I

I love the fact that you read with your kids. In fact, that third photo is absolutely priceless.

Also, the haircuts look great. I probably wouldn't have recognized SKB #1 & 2 right off if you'd just posted photos without explanations - well, I'd have to have done the double take anyhow.

T - We kept "loosing" the two at the book store when they were right in front of us because they look so different.

Your boys are so cute. The haircuts look really good. Tell them they are handsome.

Been reading your blog since you made the mason jar light above your kitchen sink - and let me tell you, every single day I am brightened with your positive view on life and the awesome pics of your kids! Reading your blog has made me feel a-OK with having all boys - if that ever happens. But let me tell you my surprise to see the boys with shorter hair! WOW! They look great but so different! I have never been a fan of long hair but on your boys it still looked so clean and just perfect!

Can't wait to see how the playroom mini projects turn out - even if it takes a few months!
