A Little Girly Time

-It’s not often I get to meet up with my dear friend, Elda.  With our busy schedules, it’s hard to carve out time for one another so when we do, we relish every moment.  A couple of weekends ago, we had a chance to chat over a nice lunch and do a little window-shopping.

I bought this eau de toilette spray because of the name.  Say it with me now, in a low, whispery tone:  Dark Kisssssss.

I’m glad it smells just as sexy.

I am in love with Restoration Hardware’s new line of furniture in Belgian Linen.
This down feather blend couch was so deliciously soft. Too bad that, even on sale at $3,280, this 9-foot cloud was out of my price range.

After taking photos of these beauties, I was very politely given a 283–page catalogue and was told to put my camera away.  Something about copyright, blah, blah, blah.  Truth be told, the blood rushing to my face must have made me tune out the sales clerk.

Elda and I spent a lovely afternoon together.  We promised each other we wouldn’t let so much time go in between before we do it again. I

Side Note:
Later that night, I was paging through said massive catalogue and look what I saw for the starting price of $349?

It reminds me a little of this one.  Hmmm…

Except, mine cost around $20.00 to make.  Find out how here.

This is the second time this week that I've heard that someone was told to put their camera away at RH. Whatever~how much of their stuff is inspired by blogs?

Your chalkboard is way better than theirs. What's with their wimpy little frames?

Your chalkboard is soooo much nicer than the ones from RH! Love the fact that you were able to spend time with your good friend, I was also able to do that this summer, and I'm looking forward to doing it again in the Fall. If you have time stop by, visit, and "Follow" my new blog! I'm so excited because Stonewall Kitchen mentioned me on their blog! I enjoyed my visit today!

I like your board a lot more than those others…I will have to post one day about my one and only crafty experience with a photo board…

Someday.
