This little, cute-as-a-button ladder is now a little side table.
I’m starting to have an obsession with doorknobs.
I couldn’t resist the little shoe forms, the paint splats made them even more appealing to me!
My favorite loved jewel of all is the farm table.
I had the table made out of a garage door I got through Freecycle. It was painted white and it was all chippy and yummy. I did have it sand down for practical purposes. But I left the paint when I made this little table to let weather outside.
I was able to get two of these wonderful doors and the other one became the table top for the bar in the Mancave.
There’s still a long piece left waiting for me to reinvent it. All in due time.
I got really brave this week and brought out the original hardware that came with the doors and displayed them here.
As usual, I’m not sure if I like it or not. I‘m letting sit and settle on me a while before I decide. What do you think? I want brutal honesty, I think. I

All of your Treasured Jewels are so yummy!!! I love the table and the man cave is so cool!! I like how you displayed the hardware, maybe add a bucket or basket to put a few in as well? It all looks so great!!
I love your door knobs! The hardware? I'm not sure. I keep picturing a bucket of dried hydrangeas there for some reason!
Everything looks great in your house, you have an excellent decorating taste, and almost everything is your creation, congrat.....
I love the cute owl with big eyes.
when I see him looks that "he is looking at me kid" LOL
At my taste, the mancave is one of the most beauty in your house, a real FLorida Key's Tiki Bar. Enjoy it.
I love your table. I want it, ha ha! Great finds!
you know i love all your junk finds! that table is just awesome! as for the hardware, i am not the biggest fan... i think the hardware is cool, i just don't think that is the right place for it. i see a galvanized metal log-style bucket filled with dried lavender or driftwood branches. the hardare might look cool on a piece of wood made into a sign?
I am still waiting for your next post, I love everything you show in your blog
What great junk finds Yanet... and great uses! I do think that awesome hardware would look cool on the wall actually... but I can't tell if that's doable... may be to chunky... I like the sign idea, too... man oh man... I like 'em though!
Cool junk! I love how much mileage you've gotten from the old garage door. I like the hardware.
