Vignette in a Wire Basket

-I apologize for the funky spacing.  Blogger hasn't been cooperating with me lately.-

My neighbor, Karen, has been recently inspired by designers in blogland so she put this little vignette together.  It came out adorable and I wanted to share it with y'all.

I love the rusty edges on the license plate.

Ball jar + turquoise + zinc lid = Marvelous!

I love the wood handle, don't you?

It's beachy, it's rustic, it's perfect!

Yes, I love the wood handle. I also love those jars. I have lots of them that I really enjoy using for storage. Such a great color.

It's funny, yesterday my b/f and I headed over to Belle Glade to check out a couple of ghost towns there. One was called Bean City, and there was this decrepit looking abandoned house so buried in brush that you wouldn't even know it was there. The b/f went down into the yard (while I stood FAR away and snapped pictures) and found piles of old junk that people threw there probably 20 years before. We found several of those green glass electrical/telegraph things shown in the 5th picture. Then we later saw them for sale $8 a pop in an antique store in Arcadia. I didn't even know what it was before we saw them, and now I keep seeing them. lol

Really cute collection. Nicely done.

It all looks great together! I love the basket. I wish I could come across one that doesn't break the bank.

I'm having problems with spacing too! I thought it was because I started using Live Writer to write out my posts. It's driving me nuts.

I love wire baskets especially when they are full of fun neat stuff. I saw Anita mentioned Live Writer. You should try it. I never have problems with it.
