You're Throwing THAT Away?!

Ah, yes!  How I love the site of a big dumpster in one of my neighbor's driveway.  If they are not remodeling, it could only mean one thing, they're de-junking!  And to me, it means I get to go "shopping"!  My enabler good friend, Alanna, helped me decide between trash and treasure.

Here are the things that made it to my house.

Good

Better

Best!

Some of you might find it down right offensive to see someone digging in a dumpster.  I can't explain it other than saying it's a sick addiction to find cool things to make into cooler things.  So, would YOU go dumpster diving?

I love that you did some digging, Yanet! Your finds are awesome. My husband is a painting contractor and found some amazing things on a job site last year that we being discarded - some vintage suitcases, tons of books, and all sorts of little what-nots. So much fun!

Why not? You found some treasures. It's like digging for gold, not dumpster diving. I'm curious to see what you do with the propeller. It's pretty cool on its own, though.

Thanks for the giggle!

OMG too funny! I love it that you really got into the dumpster and searched! We used to have “Big Trash” days in a town where I lived at. Anything you didn’t want could go on the curb for pick up. My husband drove home a garden tiller that way. There were often some pretty cool things people were getting rid of.

I am cracking up at your pictures! I would dumpster dive (and have for coupons), so no judgement here. It's just really funny to actually see pictures!

You took the term "dumpster dive" and made it into a literal sense! Great finds though!!!!
The most I've "dived" for is a few things left on the side of a road. I found a chandelier which I sold at a garage sale and last fall found some AWESOME birch logs that are now in my fireplace.
Great things come from all places!
