No More Yellow Heads!

A few months ago, the thoughtful people of Lego world released a new set of Harry Potter Legos.

But they are no ordinary Legos.  These Legos had no yellow heads or hands!

Not only are they skin-colored, they are two faced.  One side is happy, but when you twist it around, it's mad.

SKB #1 was REALLY excited about all this.  To tell you the truth, I didn't get what the big deal was about.  That is, until my Lego Indiana Jones key chain was missing a hand.

I enlisted Sun Kissed Boy #2 to help me find a limb.  He came to me with this.

Well, I couldn't have a yellow hand and a skin-color hand.  That's crazy!  Now I understood Sun Kissed Boy #1's excitement.  SKB #2 went of and found what I needed.

Symmetry is a wonderful thing.

We understand...there is lots of lego building in this house! I bet your house is just as excited as we are about the new Legoland that is coming to Florida.

Ha! Love it! I had to read this post when I saw no more yellow heads...for some reason all I could think of was yellow snow! I'll let my youngest know the good news...as we are missing many limbs on many lego guys.

Haha. I am lucky if I can FIND a head in all our legos. Hubs wants to get more. Why? So I can vacuum up more of them?

We still have several pounds of legos...and I suspect they are still secretly played with.

This reminds me of the day I graduated from a set of 5 crayons to the big box~suddenly I had flesh toned crayons! I didn't have to color people yellow or brown anymore!

Legos are still the worst thing to step on. (matchbox cars are a close second) I think having them on a key chain is ideal. :)

You would not believe the amount of legos we have in this house. And my youngest is 17! We just never got rid of them. One day we'll put all the sets together and perhaps sell them. Or save them for future grandkids. Whatever comes first!

Ah, the world of Legos...I remember a time when they weren't quite as cool as they are now...
