A Studying Picnic

Sun Kissed Boy #1's tutor, Ms. Tammy, is always coming up with inventive ways to keep education interesting.  We are in spring break right now and things are a little more laid back around our house.  Perfect timing for the nice surprise Ms. Tammy brought for him the other morning.

The weather has been just lovely in South Florida so in order to change things up, she brought a picnic basket of goodies and took advantage of a cool morning.

(If it's still cold in your part of the world, try not to be jealous.  Pretty soon it'll be so hot and muggy here that we'll break a sweat just walking to the car.)

Of course, it wasn't all play and no work.

I love that Ms. Tammy comes up with different ways to make studying fun for my son.

And I'm pretty sure he likes it too.

Sounds like a great teacher. The doughnut holes look yummy!

I need a Miss Tammy!

We could nosh on doughnuts while I pay bills! :)

Great post and thanks for reminding us here in the Heartland that your beautiful weather does have a downside. Makes it easier to bear somehow :)

Same weather here and in a couple of months we'll be sweating even in the air conditioning. Miss Tammy's ideas are what make a great teacher. Keeping kids interested and motivated takes talent, creativity and thoughtfulness. Sounds like she's got it.

What a wonderful teacher!

I'm trying not to be jealous of your weather. I really am. But it's not working.
