A Bed in the Living Room Problem

The problem with having a bed in our living room, other than having a bed in our living room, is that as soon as I walk in the house, I want to be in it. It calls out to me with promises of comfort and snuggles.  It's hard to resist the urge. So I spend my day thinking about when I can squeeze in a few minutes of down time to go back to it.

Other little people in my house don't resist the urge as well as I do. Then again, they're not in the bed for down time.

Cooper, who was always so good about not jumping on furniture, has gotten in the habit of climbing in and out of the bed via the loveseat... the WHITE loveseat.

The bed is a game a lot like Survivor.  Outwit,

Outlast,

Outplay.
Well, now that I think about it, at times, our entire house seems to run pretty much on that motto.

Once I finish redecorating the master bedroom (and I promise, it is slowly coming along), and the bed is back in it's place,  I  we will miss it. :)

It all looks so comfy though !!! I have to know how you keep all of the white with 3 boys and a dog ~ Seriously I do :)
I have a white sofa and ottoman and I am literally bleaching it once a week and it is just my hubby and me, 2 dogs and kids visiting on the weekends ~

love the sofa in the living room!
My 3 are always stealing the blankets from their bedrooms for a little cozy in the living room.

Outwit, outlast, outplay! That's too funny!
The big bed is always the best place to play! Putting it in the living room just ensures that. :) I hope Cooper will regain his senses when the bed goes back. He's such a cute dog!

I have a hard enough time keeping my boys off my bed when it is in my room:) I bet your boys have been having a blast playing on it!

Love the photos!! I would have a very hard time not getting back into bed, especially on rainy days like today. :)

When growing up, my parents had their bed in the living room, too. We used it to watch TV all the time...it was our couch.
