Bedroom Decorating: White & Brown

When I woke up this morning, I wasn't sure where I was for a second. Even though, I'm sleeping in my own house, waking up in the living room, while I renovate my bedroom, was a strange feeling. Yesterday, I played around with the furniture in the living room to make my makeshift bedroom feel homier. It was girly and flowery. Today's look is a little more gender-neutral with a lot of white and brown tones.

A cozy blanket and fresh flowers always make for an inviting space.

Chairs double as nightstands giving the room a unique look. (I just realized the suitcase is upside down.  Oops! :)
Isn't it fun to change your decor with things you already have in your home? Take a look around your home. What things can you move around to give the room a different look?

We don't have any random furniture sitting around our house to play with. I just have to relocate accessories every once in a while.

That is more masculine, but still pretty. :) I haven't shopped the house in awhile, but I think maybe I need to.

I love the white and brown contrast.....I added leather in with my shabby/cottage look. I was not sure...but the masculine mixed with the girly......really looks good!

I shopped my garage!!!!

Love this one too!! That blanket looks so soft. I love the chairs at the end too as well as for nightstands. I love shopping the house too and it is amazing all the things that I find that I didn't even know I had. :) Hhmmmmm, there may be a career in this for you. :)
