Oh, It's Summer All Right!!

This is what my thermostat read yesterday. Just looking at the picture makes me hot and sweaty. A part in our a/c needs replacing.

Luckily, my mother-in-law's place has provided a little relief (which is where I am typing this post). But it's hard to expect 3 rambunctious/boisterous little boys to stay still/quiet any length of time in 350 sq. ft.

After running around during the morning, we spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool.  Even with it being 95 degrees outside, it felt a lot cooler than being inside the house.

The boys even washed up outdoors.

Then we finished our night with orange sherbet.

The repairman is due to come back this morning to fix it. He can't get here soon enough!

Looks like you guys had a great day!

I hope he gets it fixed soon. Our upstairs AC messed up earlier this summer and the boys had to campout in the playroom until we got it fixed:)

That picture the boys washing each other's hair is priceless!!! Seriously. Hot here, too. Heading to the pool later on. We had a bout without air conditioning too (major leak)...thank goodness it's fixed!

That's actually a great idea for these hot temps, having the kids wash up outside. I may have to try that with mine!

Oh, we've had that happen. Fortunately we have two ac units (large one for upstairs and smaller one for downstairs) so we just had to stay confined to one level. We don't have a pool to cool us off but I wish we did! Hope your repairman gets it fixed quick.

Wooo girly! Is it really 90 inside your house? Holy moley. Hope you get that fixed soon. Love the picture of your three guys lined up showering outside!

Man...I got home from my trip and it was about 85 degrees in my house. I can totally feel your pain!

I love the shot of the boys washing their hair - like stair steps. I'm glad they all like each other most days. I'm sure that that helps to save your sanity.

The picture of the boys washing up needs to be in a contest! I adore it! So cute!! The orange sherbet is a great way to cool off!! I indulged in some of that yesterday!
