Life is Like a Box of Chocolates

Life is always changing. I know that one day my little ones will not be as dependent on me as they are now. Their lives is always changing too. What's important for them today might not be tomorrow or the day after. But I want them to remember what life for them was like as little boys and what kind of personality they had. So I take pictures of them almost every day. I want to capture every expression in their faces and simple everyday happenings in their lives.

It's important to me for them to know what they were like as kids. They come up with some funny things at times and I know I am not going to remember it all, once they are grown, to pass it along. That is why I started to record interviews with them. Turns out, they love it!

Sun Kissed Boys #1 pulled out a jacket and tie for the event.

The interview with Sun Kissed Boys 2 and 3 lasted about 20 minutes. It would have probably been longer but daddy came home and he's much funner than the camera. Here's a little snippet of what they had to say.

Since we never know what tomorrow brings, I encourage you to get out there and capture the personalities of the important people in your life. Take tons of photos, take lots of videos, write down the things about the them that make you smile. Even if they are always by your side, a trip of happy moments down memory lane is always good for the soul.

Yes, yes, yes! I agree. I am making a little album of the boys just for the summer so it will be special ... someday when they are older! I add a new picture to it every week.

I think we have an Easter basket like that (and of course you have to put it on your head), but I don't have a wig like that and sure wish I did! Hilarious!!!

I need to video my boys more...I take plenty of pictures:) That picture with the wig is hilarious! Your guys are so cute! I love that #2 said he wants to be bigger:)

These are so great! #1 is so serious about the interview. That video will be a treasure! I'm sure the younger ones will laugh when they are older and find out they did indeed get bigger but probably aren't working at BK. We taped my son a lot when he was younger. Now he records his own music so we have probably too much of him of tape :) I could be guilty of keeping too much (stuff he's written, tapes, artwork, etc.) but I love it.

Man, SKB #3 is now my favorite. When he broke out into "Baby, Baby" I about lost it...

Yanet these are just priceless! SKB looks so serious and so grownup and I am glad that he is ok with that. :) SKB 2 and 3 or just stinken adorable!!!! I think that that is going to be my answer too when asked what I want to be when I grow up...bigger. It works for me, everything else is too complicated.
This is such a great idea, thank you for sharing!
