I love the look of white walls paired with white furniture and dark, rustic, accent pieces.

I also like white walls that have a hint of color but you can't really tell unless you have them paired up with a true white.

But I have 3 very active (and messy) little boys. So is it wise to have white walls?

I sure can give it a try. After all, it's only paint!

I had all off white walls too and hated them. Now I wonder why.... I will live vicariously through your white rooms. Not ready to paint!
I love this look too. We have red walls and recently painted them back to an off white (I like the slight contrast to the white moulding/trim). With two large chocolate labs and a son, certain parts do get dirty but a little Magic Eraser or touch up paint occasionally fixes it up. I love it.
i also love the all white walls and rooms... it's so open and fresh feeling- so cozy i done right with textures.... lovely rooms!
I'm in the mood for something lighter, too. What the heck~it'll only be a little dirt, and things have to be cleaned anyway.
I think your house will look great with white walls. All those pops of color you've already got will make it fabulous!
I'll be the first one to say I can't stand white walls. This maybe because I lived all my life with white walls. My parents were never big painters and so we had white walls all throughout my childhood. But I have to admit that the white walls with the pops of color and then the dark rustic wood and textures...I love it! I guess I could possibly live with white walls...If I could get a designer to come over and fix it all up to look like those pictures! ;-)
White walls might be fine, but i'm not sure about white furniture.
After living in military housing and forced to have white wall I went on a painting frenzy when we bought our own house. I am going lighter with my paints but I still have to have some color. Like in that second to the last shot.
your choice great. White is my favorite color. This house look so beautiful. I think, You love the look of white walls paired with white furniture and dark, rustic, accent pieces. But i tell you, Another option that goes good with gray and white is sage green and beige. A very natural and neutral look. More of an asian/zen feel to it than say a red/black/gold asian approach.
