A Mother's Hand

Sometimes Many times I am blown away with what my kids say. Sometimes they have me in stitches, others, almost in tears. This is one of the 'sniff-sniff' moments.

I took a picture of my finger nails to text to Sun Kissed Husband to show him my newly painted nails. (I'm goofy that way and he humors me.) Looking at the picture, I noticed how much my hands look like my mom's.

I mentioned to Sun Kissed Boy #1 how my hands remind me of my mom's. My mom passed away last year so he asked, "Does that make you sad?" I told him that it did a little but it was also a reminder of her and that wasn't a sad thing. To which he said,

"It's like she's holding your hand."
