Heart Muffins

When there's little feet propped up in my kitchen, I know it means one thing: the boys are ready to help bake!

I picked up a donut pan at Target that I use for lots of things EXCEPT for making donuts. This particular day, I used it to make heart-shaped muffins. Heart-shaped anything makes everything tastier. :) I just poured the batter to fill the heart.

After keeping a close eye on it while they baked, here's what they looked like.

I thought it'd be great to fill the heart-dent with a little scoop of ice cream and drizzle chocolate syrup on top, BUT they boys ate them before I had a chance to do that. :o

Later this week, I'll show what else I make with this heart mold pan.

Cute! Love the little feet shot. Love the heart mold pan as well. Things do taste better when shaped as a heart! So sorry you didn’t get to try the ice cream idea, that sounded delish!
